DTN COMMENTS:  A light trade is being reported in major feeding states, 
with Northern dressed deals marked at $370, $2 lower than last week's 
weighted average, basis Nebraska. Southern live transactions are at $238, 
$2 lower than last week's weighted averages. 

Beef cutouts are higher at midday (choice 375.90 +2.76, select 357.61 
+2.87) with light to mostly moderate box movement (84.91 lds of choice 
cuts, 7.34 lds of select cuts, 8.60 lds of trim, and 7.85 lds of ground). 
Cattle futures are sharply lower at this time with many live and feeder 
contracts locked limit down.
