December corn is up 1/2 cent per bushel, November soybeans are up 1 cent, December KC wheat is down 3 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 3 1/2 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is down 3 1/4 cents.
Traders were unsure of continued strength in the cattle market and held back aggressive buying Monday. Boxed beef prices continue to exhibit strength. The February and April lean hog contracts closed at new contract highs as traders anticipated higher prices.
